Opening of the Training Barbershop

The College of LTSNU opened a training barbershop.

The College of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a structural subdivision, which trains specialist competent in many areas of public life. College teachers are making efforts to improve the efficiency of educational activities, improve their own professional level, which creates prerequisites for more effective interaction of educational and scientific processes.

Due to the expansion of the number of students majoring in “Design of Hairstyles and Make-Up,” there was a need to improve the material and technical base, which will increase the efficiency of learning. With the support of the administration of LTSNU, they purchased the equipment necessary to open a training barbershop and practice of college students.

The professional equipment significantly improves the learning environment, motivates students to professional self-improvement, and allows creating modern hairstyles, making a professional make-up and manicure.

On December 28, the opening ceremony of the training barbershop took place. The Rector of LTSNU S.V. Savchenko congratulated students majoring in “Design of Hairstyles and Make-Up”, wished them self-improvement and said that he would make all efforts for the development of students’ skills. The Vice-rector for Scientific And Pedagogical Work O.I. Babichev said that hairdressing is a demand on the labor market, so the college education opens up new opportunities for employment. The students expressed their gratitude to the university administration for their support and assistance.

During the presentation of the barbershop, the Director of the College of LTSNU N.V. Motunova demonstrated professional equipment, told about the possibilities of the organization of practical work and perspectives of the further activity.

Opening of the training barbershop is an evidence of development of LTSNU, improvement of the quality of education and inspires confidence in the European future of our state, which is possible only thanks to the competent and highly qualified specialists.
