The history of New Year celebration has its roots in the distant past. This is the time when all people want to be happy and have fun, build new plans, set new goals and wait for the New Year’s fairy tale. New Year is a special period in the life of each country. It is interesting to explore the New Year traditions of different peoples of the world.
Students prepared presentations on the features of the New Year celebration in the East (Turkey, Israel, Japan, China). Teachers and participants made an imaginary journey into these countries to get acquainted with their New Year’s traditions.
The cheerful and comfortable atmosphere reigned, songs, poems and New Year’s congratulations in different languages sounded.
After the event, participants received sweet gifts.
