Creative New Year Tree

On the eve of the New Year holidays, a creative New Year tree was established in the research library of the University.

Winter holidays are filled with unrivaled fabulousness are expected and welcome for children and adults. Ukrainian traditions of celebrating promotes the unity of generations and contribute to the establishment of a European state, which is capable to develop in the world.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University respects Ukrainian folk customs and traditions and actively implements its own unique ideas of New Year celebrations. A creative New Year tree, which is set in the research library of the University, became a decoration and a symbol of recognition of the book as an important source of knowledge.

The scientific library of LTSNU is a cultural and educational center of the institution, an effective means of saving, accumulation and transfer of human knowledge. The staff take care of the replenishment of the book fund, the development of scientific capacity and comfort of visitors. The creative New Year tree made of books created a warm and wonderful holiday atmosphere and inspired readers on a journey into the fascinating world of the book.

Books for the New Year trees were chosen specifically according to a New Year’s theme and given the demands of today’s youth. The literature collection will be interesting both for students and for those who want to visit the research library of LTSNU.

Christmas and New Year are coveted winter fairy tale, the personification of Ukrainian union of centuries-old traditions and modern customs of the celebration. Teachers, staff and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University actively attach to the cultural events and are generators of new creative ideas that allow improving the quality of the institution activities.
