23.12.2016
The Romanic-Germanic Philology Department has celebrated the New Year and Christmas.
Philologists not only can learn a lot and hard, but also they can have fun and spend holidays together! This time was decided to present performances about «New Year around the world». Despite the length of the session, students prepared incredibly talented performances, songs, skits, dance and poetry to highlight cultural features of New Year in different countries (England, America, Spain, Germany, France, Ukraine, Turkmenistan). The event that has not been driven in frames of script, and improvised numbers were so funny and free that soon everyone felt relaxed and like at home. Relaxed and as a family – this is how our New Year can be described.
Also, visit of the head of commission from Starobilsk M. Semenov was a pleasant surprise. He congratulated philologists with upcoming holidays and offered some interesting ideas about how to revive the old traditions of student government in our university.
Suddenly guests visited, who on behalf of the University administration welcomed philologists of the coming holidays. Moreover, N.M. Semenov offered many interesting ideas including to revive the old tradition of student government at our faculty.
