Students and teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences congratulated the soldiers on the Day of St. Nicholas.

Volunteering is a prerequisite for the formation of personalities of high moral character, who adhere to the principles of tolerance and humanism in their professional activities. Active participation in the cultural and educational activities, organization and providing assistance and support instills faith and confidence in the victory and the successful development of the state.

St. Nicholas Day is a traditional Ukrainian feast, a symbol of magic and fairy-tale winter. Sweets, gifts and warm atmosphere are inextricably linked with the traditions of celebration.

Students of LTSNU, understanding importance of the work of volunteers, congratulated children and soldiers. Teachers and students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences visited the operational-tactical group “Luhansk”.

At the beginning of the event N.Y. Matsai addressed to the audience, she expressed gratitude to the military and congratulated them on New Year’s holidays. After the speech, the play began, organized by students of the Faculty. The traditional struggle between good and evil embodied in the confrontation of angels and demons, and the image of St. Nicholas became a symbol of reconciliation and assistance.

The girls recited poems and gave the military an indispensable attribute of the New Year holidays – the New Year tree with a characteristic feature of the coffee aroma, which creates a warm atmosphere of communication.

Students and teachers of the Faculty of Natural Sciences prepared and solemnly presented the military men sweets and holiday cards.

St. Nicholas is the patron saint of children, soldiers, travelers and students, represents the principles of justice, tolerance and mutual assistance. Winter wonders and fairy tale are provided by unity and respect for others.
