Celebration in the Children’s Hospital

Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology arranged a holiday in the children’s hospital.

On December 19, students of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology visited the infectious ward in the Starobilsk hospital together with St. Nicholas, Santa Claus, the Snow Queen, Ukrainian Cossacks.

The tradition of greeting children with St. Nicholas Day originated in the IPP many years ago, and now it is going on in the city of Starobilsk.

The fairy-tale characters read poems and greeted children, parents and medical staff on the Day of St. Nicholas. Everyone got interesting gifts including toys, pencils, albums, coloring books, paints, books, construction sets, puzzles, etc.

The team of students and teachers congratulate all on the bright and happy holiday – the Day of St. Nicholas! On this day, we begin to celebrate the cycle of Christmas and New Year holidays, filled with the warmest feelings and wishes, joy and hope. On the Day of St. Nicholas, we, as before in childhood, wait for a pleasant surprise and wonder.

We want to have a celebration of mercy, compassion and care for others. So we remembered those who most need our attention and gave them joy.

On this bright day, we wish you good health, peace, faith. In addition, we wish young residents of Luhansk to desire that Saint Nicholas, who is their patron, will make all their lightest wishes and dreams, inspire by good works and deeds!
