Master’s Graduate Concert

A concert of bayan music of the Master’s graduate of Andrii Stashevskiy’s class took place in the city of Poltava.

The event was held on December 15 at the Concert Hall of Poltava University of Economics and Trade. The accordionist Valeriy Semenenko presented a complex, diverse and very interesting concert program consisting of works of the Baroque (Bach, Scarlatti), Romanticism (Liszt, Rachmaninov) and modernity (Kusyakov, Semenov). In addition, at the end of the concert the accordion player performed a work by his teacher Andrii Stashevskiy called «Capriccio in modo jazz», created 25 years ago.

Valeriy Semenenko is a bright and talented musician. During the years of his study at the University, he was the winner of several international competitions. So, he is the laureate of three music competitions: in Lutsk (2011), Yalta (2013), and Kharkiv (2016). The student showed concert solo program almost every year from the day of entering the University. In addition, he performed in other cities of the country.
