Meeting of the Student Government

The University held a meeting of the Student Government.

The active student youth, which is able to think objectively and aspires to self-realization is the key to successful development of the country. The future of our state depends on the sense of purpose, perseverance, selflessness of the young generation, whose education is the leading task in today’s realities.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a cultural and educational center of the East region. A powerful government system, which included student leaders of structural subdivisions, was created at LTSNU in order to democratize the student life and to educate the young people’s social activity.

At the last meeting of the Student Government of LTSNU, they discussed a number of important issues that will enable to improve the educational process. Students chose the date of the monthly meeting, developed the university-wide action plan for February 2017.

An important result of the meeting was the creation of the Information Center, which is a requirement of modernity and respect for the principles of transparency and openness of the Government. The coverage of decisions taken by students in social networks will be a prerequisite for active interaction with representatives of the higher educational institutions of Ukraine.

There was also solved a number of organizational issues regarding the work in the hostels and care of classrooms.

A student of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is an honorary title, which is a symbol of belonging to the number of world-renowned scientists, athletes, political leaders, artists etc. Active young students of our University is the key to successful development of the state and its entry into the European community.
