Session of Student Scientific Society

The second meeting of student scientific society was held on the 12th of December on the department of Germanic-Romance philology in which the first-year, second-year, fourth-year students and postgraduate students presented results of their scientific researches.
Scientific supervisors of researches of the department of Germanic-Romance philology were presented on the scientific students’ meeting. Among them were the head of the department of Germanic-Romance philology, Assoc. Prof. S. O. Shekhavtsova; Assoc. Prof.T. A. Koknova; Assoc. Prof.N. H. Humenyuk and lecturer of the department V. V. Havrylyak.
The meeting was started by choosing the head and secretary of student scientific society. Daria Hrunenko was nominated for election to be the head ofstudent scientific society – the postgraduate student of department of Germanic-Romance philology. Her candidacy was electedunanimously by all students. Olha Klymchuk and Alina Romanenko were nominated for election to be the secretary. During voting Olha Klymchuk – the second-year student of “Spanish and English language and literature” specialty – was elected on this position.
The researches of students who write their scientific works on English, German and Spanish languages were presented on the meeting. The chosen researches were recommended for their further participation in Ukrainian contest of scientific researches on natural, technical and humanities sciences in the sphere of “Germanic-Romance languages and literature”.
The scientific reports of Lyudmyla Ovcharova “Franglais language as a part of youth Internet slang” – scientific supervisor S. O. Shekhavtsova; Alina Romanenko “The specific feature of facultative work organization referred for familiarization of high-school schoolboys with variations of English” – scientific supervisor T. A. Koknova; Anastasiya Yakunina who prepares scientific work on the topic “Semantic peculiarities of euphemism usage in the “Sherlock” serial” and AllaBondar “Stylistic peculiarities of modern English discourse” – scientific supervisor – the leading specialist of artistically stylistic analysis of English text V. Havrylyak were marked out.
The students of different years of study and postgraduate students presented original results of scientific activity. During the discussion their theses and articles were recommended for participation of student scientific Internet conference “Current problems of linguistic, literature study and methodology of teaching language and literature” that will be hold on the 21st of December of 2016 in Vinnytsya.
Considerable and significant was the fact that the first-year students, who made their first attempts of writing theses and articles on linguistics and methodology of teaching foreign languages, took part in the scientific meeting.
