Conference with the Participation of Scientists of LNU

The University of Cambridge began a 4-day scientific conference with the participation of scientists of LTSNU.
Enhancing quality education is possible only provided the interaction of educational institutions, scientific innovation and technology transfer. Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is a European higher educational institution recognized by the international scientific community. Leadership Development Programme (in the partnership with Institute of Higher Education of the NAES of Ukraine, British Council Ukraine and Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, UK).
During the visit of the Ukrainian delegation at the University of Cambridge was started a 4-day scientific-practical conference “Modern University Embracing Change” with the participation of eminent scientists and experts.
At the beginning of the event, participants got to know each other and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation.
The Director of the Center for Educational Innovation, Professor of the Faculty of Education of the University of Cambridge Colleen McLaughlin delivered a welcoming speech.
One of the main directions of her activity is support of the international educational reform. November 28, she spoke not only about the work of the University of Cambridge, but also expressed her support for universities, which were forced to evacuate and received the status of displaced universities.
The Rector of LTSNU Serhii V. Savchenko stressed on the importance of fair events for the displaced higher educational institutions.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University D.V. Uzhchenko noted that the audience had many tasks that need to be addressed in the educational process, so it is necessary to exchange ideas and new knowledge.
Sara Clark Habibi made a presentation “The Role of Education in the Development of the World”. The scientists discussed the representation of the interests and involvement of students in the activities of the institution, analyzed the experience of the European Humanities University, as well as leadership in higher education.
On November 28 was held four sessions, where our teachers learned about the experience of one of the most prestigious universities in the world. This event is a symbol of international support for Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, its recognition in the European educational space and respect for scientists who, despite the difficult conditions, remain loyal to their Alma Mater.
