The computer science classes began at the Preparatory Department of the University.

The progressive development of science and technology, and their continuous improvement are the fundamental laws of the economic life of mankind. The scientific and technological revolution opens up new ways of management and methods of diversified high-technology systems. The modern person is the driving force of the society modernization, so the study of information technologies, which are constantly being improved, is a necessary condition for the successful development of the state.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is actively implementing the latest innovative technologies in operation to ensure quality education. The computer science classes, which began at the Preparatory Department, are intended to familiarize the pupils of secondary schools with the peculiarities of the personal computer, its device, and principles of software configuration. In addition, children will almost absorb this knowledge, acquire skills of graphic design and working with photographic materials.

Teachers of the classes are employees of the Information Technology Centre A.V. Bugaevska and M.A. Fomenko, who have not only theoretical knowledge base, but also extensive hands-on experience with modern appliances.

At the beginning of the training the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences O.S. Menyailenko congratulated all those present. He wished the students inspiration and noted that computer science is a science with fast and dynamic development, so its study is an important component of the modern self-identity.

Each participant of the studies could suggest a topic that is interesting and relevant for him to study. A characteristic feature is the ability to participate in class with the help of electronic university platform that offers great opportunities for the educational process including distance studying.

The computer science classes will be held every Saturday. During this time, experienced teachers who have a great amount of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, will form a sufficient potential of students to succeed in today’s information space.
