Meeting with Journalists

The presentation of Luhansk Regional Organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) and Luhansk Press Club took place in Luhansk Regional Scientific Library named after M. Gorky.

Students of LTSNU participated in the presentation. During the meeting, Tatiana Vergun, the chairman of NUJU in the Luhansk region, told the students about the resumption of the organization’s work in Severodonetsk, peculiarities of the journalist’s work, and proposed our students to think about creation of a primary organization in the city of Starobilsk. According to her, having created such an organization students would have the opportunity to gain work experience in journalism and become members of NUJU in the future.

The chairman of “Luhansk Press Club” Arif Bagirov made the presentation. He told the students about the activities of the club, its goals and objectives, as well as the projects on which they work.

The meeting was interesting and informative. But only time will tell if our students are interested in the possibility of cooperation with journalists and creation of the primary organization in Starobilsk.
