Participation in the Celebration

November 21, students of the separated subdivision “RCPE of LTSNU” (Starobilsk Department) took an active part in the celebration of the Day of Dignity and Freedom.

The holiday is dedicated to the anniversary of two revolutions: the 2004 Orange Revolution and the Revolution of Dignity in 2013.

A series of events including exhibitions, round tables, meetings with active participants in the revolutionary events were held in order to approve in Ukraine ideals of freedom and democracy, save reports to present and future generations of objective information about the momentous events in Ukraine in the beginning of the XXI century, as well as saluting due respect for the patriotism and courage of citizens who in November 2004 and in 2013 became to protect democratic values, rights and freedoms of a man and a citizen, the national interests of our state and its European choice.

The Starobilsk Central Regional Library issued a thematic exhibition “Maidan – Revolution of the Spirit”, which was attended by students of the groups 1-B and 1-Ks.

A lesson was held in memory of “Heroes of Heaven Hundreds”. During the lesson, the students met with the tragic events of November 2013, watched movies “How Was It. The Orange Revolution “,” The Revolution of Dignity. Chronicle of Events.”  On this day the classroom teachers during the first lesson held the thematic educational hours “Choose Freedom”, “Heroes are not Born, Become Heroes.”
