Opening of the Memorial Plaque

The opening of a memorial plaque to Iosiph Khmelevsky took place in Poltava. Students of Luhansk National University attended the event.
Students of the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts of LTSNU attended the opening of the memorial plaque to Iosiph Khmelevsky.
The board with the image of the face of Iosiph Hmelevsky – Ukrainian photographer of Polish origin, who worked in Poltava in the second half of the XIX century. He represented Ukraine, in particular Poltava, by his works in Europe. The board was established on the house in the center of Poltava, Sobornist Street, 20. Here he opened a photo studio, which was considered the best in Europe.
The Union of Polish culture fans in Poltava “Polonia” organized the opening of the memorial plaque, and this initiative was supported by Poltava City Council.
