“Drawing the Aggression”

Freshmen of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology have learned to work with negative emotions with the help of the technology “Drawing the Aggression.”
So, on November 15-16, the first-year students of the specialty “Elementary Education” visited the Center of Psychosocial Adaptation of the city of Starobilsk (the coordinator is E.G. Dorogavtseva), where within the memorandum of cooperation with the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” the implementation of the “Psychosocial Program Adaptation of the Displaced Students and Their Families to the New Environment” continues. This time the theme of the meeting was the aggression.
“The main purpose of the lesson is work with aggressive emotions, understanding the motives of using art therapy techniques “Drawing the Aggression,” – the leading of the training, graduate student of the Department of Social Pedagogy, psychologist of the CPSA of the city of Starobilsk Anton Nazmiev explained.
The constant participation of IPP students in the work of the Centre helps to quickly adapt to new conditions of studying and living, unlock the potential, improve self-esteem, and acquire personal and professional skills of self-improvement.
