Participation in the Interactive Lecture

Scientists of LNU participated in the interactive lecture “Education Research: Communication, Grant-writing, Methodology and Publications”.
The study of international experience in the field of education, cooperation with internationally renowned scientists is a prerequisite for the development of scientific potential of the institution and the successful implementation of educational activities. The Interactive lecture “Educational Research: Communication, Grant-writing, Methodology and Publications,” conducted by the Ph.D. in Pedagogy L.I. Bondarenko and PhD in Sociology K.M. Kotelenets, was devoted to the new technologies and international research education.
The lecture materials were obtained as a result of participation in the first English-language UERA School, which became a part of the large-scale year project of the Ukrainian Association of Education Researchers “Support for the Reform of Higher Education in Ukraine”, aimed at raising the level of professionalism in the training and research activities of universities, to attract teachers to exchange academic experience, promotion of empirical research in the field of education.
During the lecture, those present acquainted with the peculiarities of the quality of education research. K.M. Kotelenets focused attention on the International Social Survey Program of victims of crime, drug addiction and alcoholism among young people, as well as the health and aging of the nation.
The Ph.D. L.I. Bondarenko told about the possibility of research publications in international journals. The participants acquainted with the principles of design CV – collecting document which allows to bring together the stages of study and work, and to specify the achievements and personal qualities.
At the end of the event L.T. Vakhovsky spoke about the importance of using modern research results in scientific papers and recommend the book “Research on the Comparative Education: Approaches and Methods.”
