Teachers explore the problems of war

Teachers of LTSNU explore problems of hybrid war in the East of Ukraine.

The scientific activity is a part of the successful development of the higher educational institution and society. The development of comprehensive studies on current topics that will be in demand for specialists in various practice areas allows qualitatively improve the scientific potential of the university and the educational sector of the country.

Teachers of LTSNU begin to study hybrid war in the East of Ukraine from positions of a multidisciplinary approach, that is, from the point of view of many branches of knowledge, such as history, philosophy, sociology, political science, education, psychology, special education, social pedagogy, journalism, philology, economy etc. Scientists of our University explore the impact of armed violence on the political process in Ukraine; Donbass regional community in the hybrid war; trauma of the Ukrainians’ personality as a result of military and informational aggression; the transformation of the national education system, in particular media education in Ukraine in the conditions of the hybrid war in the East of Ukraine.

Also they study the language Information facility of the modern writing and speaking in the East of Ukraine; the literature of Slobozhanshchina in social and cultural space; national-patriotic education of children and youth in the context of allegations of subjectivity of the Ukrainian state; socialization of pupils and students of eastern Ukraine in the hybrid war and post-war period; content and technology of social, pedagogical and psychological work with different categories of the population of the East of Ukraine.

The result of the research will be the publication of the collection of scientific works, which will be the basis for a further search for ways out of the conflict, as well as reintegration of the population from the temporarily uncontrolled territory into the Ukrainian space.

The problem of the hybrid war is not a new science, but takes on the specificity of the deployment of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, and therefore requires careful and thorough research. “Conducting this research is of great importance not only for our university, but also for the region and the development of Ukraine as a whole. The phenomenon of the hybrid war will be studied in an interdisciplinary dimension. There will be developed recommendations to minimize the effects and exit from the conflict in the East of Ukraine, reintegration of the temporarily uncontrolled territory in the Ukrainian legal, economic, informational, educational space,” – the project coordinator O.L. Karaman said.

Teachers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University are the scientists recognized in Ukraine and around the world. The scientific research of our teachers is relevant to many areas of activity, so studying problems of hybrid war in the East of Ukraine is an important step towards overall victory.
