Briefing on Technogenic and Fire Safety

Students and teachers have been instructed on the technogenic and fire safety.

Meeting the requirements of technogenic and fire safety is a prerequisite for the effective development of the society and the growth trends due to the loss of life and damage areas as a result of natural hazards and disasters. The risk of emergencies of technogenic and natural character is constantly growing.

Due to the geographical proximity to the war zone, a lecture on the rules of technogenic and fire safety was held for students, staff and faculty members. The inspector spoke about explosive subjects and focused on the causes of emergencies.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, the present people gained practical skills on use of fire extinguishers that is a prerequisite for compliance with fire safety requirements.

“We plan to continue informing students and teachers of LTSNU concerning observance of requirements of technogenic and fire safety. Soon the mines layouts will be provided that will improve knowledge of the population about the structure of explosive devices”, – the chief inspector of the Starobilsk District Department of the SE SSES of Ukraine in Luhansk region S.V. Kolesov said.

Informing students in the field of protection of the population from emergency situations is an important and necessary element of the modern education system.
