Halloween Celebrated

October 31 the worst event of the year – Halloween – was celebrated at the Romance and Germanic Philology Department.

Students of the Department spent this holiday cheerfully – with songs, storytelling, sweets and nice friendly atmosphere. The theme of the evening was «Telling Scary Stories», and the competition for the best horror stories was won by the first year students with their performance «Black cat». The competition of cooking frightening dishes was won by the second year students with their toothy cakes and fruit jelly worms.

The winners received sweet prizes and gratitude for participation in the public life of the Department. Overall, Halloween went like warm friendly gatherings – the students laughed, told stories trying to scare each other, and generally just spent time together as true friends.
