The Final Stage of the Session

The Faculty of Natural Sciences held the final stage of the session – studies for students of specialty “Chemistry” and “Biochemistry”.

Students attended lectures and completed a series of workshops provided by the educational program. The first year master students together with their scientific advisers held discussion topics for future research master’s works, decided on the plans of scientific activities for the current academic year.

Considering the strong demand for specialists in chemistry and biochemistry, one of the important elements of specialist training is practical training. The range of employment specialists in chemistry and biochemistry is extremely varied: teaching chemistry in schools and high schools, pharmaceutical and chemical industry, scientific research and industrial research laboratories etc. Therefore, the central question of the practices organization in chemistry and biochemistry was planning and coordination of issues of industrial and educational practices, taking into account the further professional employment of students and the labor market requirements.

The end of the session was marked with the awarding of teachers of the Department for achievements in scientific, pedagogical and educational work.
