Meeting with the Coordinator

The Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technology and Tourism held a meeting of the first year students with the coordinator of the Center for Psychosocial Adaptation.

According to the plan of social and humanitarian work, the Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT M.M. Chumak organized and held a meeting of the first year students with the coordinator of the Center for Psychosocial Adaptation E.G. Dorogavtseva.  The result of the meeting was an active student participation in a series of trainings held in October by the psychologist of the Center, graduate student of the Department of Social Pedagogy Anton Nazmiev.

The purpose of the meetings on the basis of the Centre is the development of self-presentation skills, identify their positive character traits that help students to cope with the problems, a return to childhood resource, bringing the resources that are lacking in the present tense. During the work, it was used art therapy techniques “Petals”, color-therapy, metaphorical associative cards. Students understood that internal resources are the rich baggage that helps in their internal stabilization and confidence in themselves and their abilities.

It should be emphasized that the proposed training program provides effectively students adapt to the new conditions in which they found themselves after entering the university. This allows overcoming the psychological problems that occur the first week of training and gain confidence in their actions and decisions.
