Preparatory Courses for the External Testing – 2017

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University started preparatory courses for the External testing – 2017.

The preparatory courses are designed for school leavers in 2017 and previous years, who want to prepare for the external evaluation better and undergo the pre-deployment training and psychological adaptation to the new university atmosphere.

Training at the preparatory courses are carried out by the single program for External testing – 2017 approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, using the author’s techniques of the university teachers. “This academic year we offer our traditional full time and distance studying with a 7-month period. Studies will be held from October to April”, – the head of the Preparatory Department Natalia Y. Mathai told.

Today were started studies in the following subjects: the Ukrainian language and literature, History of Ukraine, Mathematics and a foreign language. The groups on Geography, Biology, Physics and Chemistry are formed. Tuition for a full study course of one discipline is 780 UAH.

“During this time, our students will improve and systematize their knowledge of the subjects, will learn to identify and overcome the “pitfalls” of the external testing. The participants with a significant interruption in their studies and graduates of previous years will be able to partially restore the lost knowledge,” – Professor Tatiana S. Pinchuk said.

The preparatory courses in LTSNU are not only a high-quality preparation for the state testing, but also an opportunity to get so-called “benefits” for admission to our university. After all the graduates who successfully finish our preparatory courses will receive a certificate and extra points for admission to our university for natural-mathematical and engineering fields of study.
