Participation in the Pedagogical Forum

Students and teachers of LTSNU participated in the pedagogical forum.

The pedagogical forum “Pre-school Education of Luhansk Region in Modern Reality” was held in the city of Lysychansk and was aimed at determination of the main fields of activities of pre-school educational institutions in the Luhansk region at the present stage of development.

The event was attended by teachers and students of the specialty “Preschool Education” of Lysychansk Pedagogical College; heads and educators of the kindergartens of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk and Svatovo, as well as teachers and students of LTSNU.

The Director of Lysychansk Pedagogical College of LTSNU G.N. Minenko congratulated participants of the forum and wished the present people progress in the discussion of the problems that exist today in pre-school education. In addition, she wished participants to share with their pedagogical collectives of innovation “highlights”.

The forum lasted for two sections: one section was for heads and educators of kindergartens from Severodonetsk, Lysychansk and Svatovo and another section – for teachers of LTSNU.

For the university teachers the Director of Lysychansk Pedagogical College of LTSNU G.N. Minenko conducted an excursion tour, introduction to educational and methodological base, presenting the professional laboratory and museum-pedagogical complexes. Teachers visited the “Cabinet-Museum of History of Education and Pedagogy”, “Laboratory of Acquaintance with Nature”, “Laboratory of Professional Competence of a Teacher of Preschool Education” and others.

During the pedagogical forum, the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of Lysychansk Pedagogical College of LTSNU L.Y. Tarariva and the Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of LTSNU O.L. Karaman welcomed representatives of the preschool educational institutions. “In our opinion today’s event is a real feast for the entire education community. Because here those people gathered today, in whose hands the future of our country”, – Olena Karaman said.

Participants of the pedagogical forum discussed current problems and prospects of development of pre-school education in Luhansk region, focused on the importance of national-patriotic component of the educational process in the preschool age and proved the importance of partnership activities with teachers of preschool educational institutions of Luhansk region. The Assistant Professor of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education of LTSNU L.A. Varyanitsa made the report «Actual problems of Preschool Education”. She mentioned that the current preschool education is in the process of modernization and this process is that we are moving from an authoritarian pedagogy to the cooperation pedagogy.”

At the end of the forum diplomas and valuable prizes were awarded to the winners of the Regional Professional Online Contest “The problem of Forming a New Generation of Luhansk Region: National-Patriotic Aspect”, organized by the Lysychansk Pedagogical College of LTSNU. During one month, the participants sent materials of walks, festivals, games and other forms of work with children, aimed at achieving the objectives of the formation of the Ukrainian mentality.

The forum was held in a friendly, trusting atmosphere. The dialogues between the college teachers and educators of the preschool educational institutions lasted very long; they discussed and shared experiences. All participants unanimously stressed the importance of such events not only for teachers but also for the society.
