Cleaning on Saturday

Today students cleaned the territory of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University for the first time.

Saturday cleaning up was the first in this academic year. Students of LTSNU College, Starobilsk Humanitarian and Pedagogical College and the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports participated in cleaning. Together, the participants cleared a significant university area.

According to the deputy directors on educational work of colleges Yulia N. Ivanova and Natalia Voitenko, such events they will organize and conduct monthly. They say that it is the contribution of each student in a common cause – to make a well-groomed campus. Moreover, in their opinion, this collective work brings together students.

Students together with the curators and the commandant of the hostel led to a proper state of the campus and the area around the university buildings.

Cleaning up was well-organized. Students worked willingly under the guidance of the curators. “Such events are important and should be carried out to ensure that each of us is “purified” together with the environment. And in general, voluntary work helps to unite all of us with the desire to live in purity”, – the second year student of specialty “Primary Education” Tatiana Aliferenko told.

Having finished cleaning up each student realized the importance of this event and enjoyed the results of collective work.
