Participation in Forums

Teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages continue to participate in the National Forum.

On September 16-17, 2016, the scientific-practical seminar «Strategic Leadership for Academic Integrity» was held on the basis of V.O. Sukhomlynsky National University of Mykolaiv.

The purpose of the forum is to bring together graduates of the Swedish Institute Alumni, who have experience in teaching and social activities on the integrity principles, as well as representatives of various educational and social spheres to get acquainted with the best international practices implementation of academic integrity, discuss and develop interdisciplinary Code of Education Integrity, academic integrity, and policy enforcement procedures in the modern Ukrainian context.

The organizers gathered public figures, scholars and teachers from all over Ukraine to discuss issues of academic integrity (Chernivtsi, Melitopol, Kyiv, internally displaced persons from Luhansk). The Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology Svitlana Shehavtsova took part in the workshop.

Among the speakers of the seminar were well-known experts in the scientific community: the Pro-Rector of Luhansk University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Professor M.Karchevsky; Ph.D., Associate Professors of the V.Getman Kiev National Economic University V.Satsik and A.Kelichavy. The first day program ended with the study tour, which was held by well-known local historian of the city of Mykolaiv T.Gubska.

On the second day participants of the event with the coaching support exchanged their ideas in the interactive discussion mode on the coast of Ochakov.
