On September 1st LTSNU began the enrollment to the preparatory courses. Now the groups are formed.
History of pre-professional training system in Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University dates back to 1923, when was created the so-called workers’ school – preparatory courses for workers and peasants. The faculty of pre-professional training at the university was established on June 22, 1992.
The main purpose of pre-professional education courses is to prepare students for the future passing the external testing. Our courses are licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (license on 06.19.2015, the number 636 849 AE).
Training on preparatory courses lasts 7 months – from the beginning of October until the end of April of the current academic year.
Training of students is provided in the disciplines for testing as part of the external independent evaluation, as well as on the disciplines necessary to pass creative exams:
- Ukrainian language and literature,
- History of Ukraine,
- Mathematics,
- Biology,
- Geography,
- Physics,
- Chemistry,
- Foreign languages,
- Creative competitions (design, journalism, etc.).
Students are taught by the best teachers of the University faculty members on the author’s programs of training and practice tests which are prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment.

Graduates who complete our training courses, get extra points for admission to LTSNU on natural-mathematical and engineering fields of study.
Our teachers are constantly attending seminars on topical issues of preparation for the external evaluation, and therefore react to any changes that are made during the preparation for the external testing.
Graduates of our training courses always get the highest scores at the time of the external testing and enter the best universities in Ukraine at the places of the state order.
