Students and graduates of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports take an active part in the championships, competitions and games of international importance.

So, recently the XXXI Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro finished. We witnessed battles in various kinds of sports. Students and graduates of the Institute of Physical Education and Sports participated in athletics, sports gymnastics, diving and cycling. Unfortunately, they did not win any medal, but supported the basic principle of “Olympism” – the main thing is participation.

Soon will be the traditional holding of the Paralympic Games, the opening ceremony of which will take place on September 7 in Rio de Janeiro. Our master student Mykola Zhabnyak, master of sports of Ukraine of international level in athletics, member of the Ukrainian team, a multiple champion of Ukraine, the record-breaker of Ukraine and winner of the European and World Championships won the right to participate in these competitions. On September 8 he will represent the country in the discus sector and spears.
