The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that allows persons in the ATO zone enter Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University without External testing.

Applicants from Luhansk and Donetsk regions (including uncontrolled Ukrainian territories) can enroll in a displaced higher educational establishment only if they pass the entrance exams. They need to have a certificate of the state sample. Graduates of schools from the uncontrolled territories can obtain a certificate for the simplified procedure in one of th support schools in the Luhansk region (in this case in the city of Starobilsk).

What is a “simplified procedure”? Unlike graduates from other areas, which will take the Ukrainian language, mathematics and the history of Ukraine in the form of an external independent evaluation, students from the ATO zone can pass these subjects in the support schools.

Employees of the entrance committee of our university will provide school leavers exhaustive information about the procedure of drawing up the DPA, and they have carried them in supporting the school selected to undergo certification in the city of Starobilsk.

Candidates should come once to Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University from July 11 to 27 for the entrance exams. Applicants will be provided with free accommodation in a hostel. If it is necessary, parents can stay in a hostel too.
