August 20 the enrollment for correspondence study has finished at LTSNU.

Correspondence form of study involves a large amount of independent work of students with the educational material, participation in laboratory and exam sessions, training on the job. This requires a more responsible approach than full-time education, since the principle of such education is to find the right information and self-mastery of it.

This year, 315 applications were accepted from graduates on the basis of complete secondary education and 438 ones – on the basis of junior specialist. Among the future entrants, there are those who want to get a second degree. Mostly it is seeking by someone who is already working on a specialty, and wants to continue career. Also among the part-time students will be soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who have the opportunity to receive higher education free of charge.

Oleksandr Kapitula performs military service in the Air Assault Brigade. This year he expressed a desire to become a student of the specialty “Social Work” of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology. “As I perform military service in Starobilsk, I chose LTSNU to get higher education. Although I had heard positive reviews about the University at home, in the city of Dubno,” – the applicant said.

Compared to last year the number of applicants has increased. First of all, this is due to hard work of the teaching staff of the University and the provision of opportunities to enter the University for entrants from the occupied territories.

The educational center “Donbass – Ukraine” helps actively school leavers living in the uncontrolled territory of Ukraine and settlements located near the contact line. A simplified procedure for admission without results of the External testing operated for these students. 34 persons expressed a desire to study in the correspondence form and benefited this opportunity. For those who have not yet had time to do it, the opportunity to become a student of LNU still there, because a subdivision of the admission committee, the educational center “Donbass-Ukraine” continues to receive documents from the graduates of the ATO zone and settlements located in the vicinity of the contact line till 20.09.2016.

The most popular among structural subdivisions of the university are the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, the Institute of History, International Relations and Social and Political Sciences, and the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. The greatest number of applications were submitted to these subdivisions.

The term of publication of the rating list of applicants in LTSNU will take place on August 22, 2016. On this day, everybody will know who will be able to get higher education free of charge, and who will execute the contract.
