The entrance examination is a test of knowledge and skills, abilities to a certain kind of activity, which is held in the form of an external independent evaluation. Its purpose is to check and evaluate the individual abilities of creative activity.

In accordance with the Rules of Admission there was developed and approved a program of creative competitions, which is published on the University website, as well as the examination committees were created. The programs of creative competitions include the evaluation criteria to each of them.

“This event is important and exciting for every applicant, – Danylo Chernichenko said. He passed the creative competitions in the specialty “Journalism”. – I, together with my classmates decided to enter LTSNU as sure, that I will receive professional knowledge and be able to find a job in the future. After a long preparation, I still cannot resist the excitement, but I hope that all will be well.”

The Faculty of Ukrainian Philology and Social Communications holds creative competitions for entrants to the specialty “Journalism” in order to identify gifted students who have the ability to work in the field of social communications. “Creative competitions is a necessary stage of training, which consists of two phases: writing a journalistic text on the results of the press conference and a proofreading text. It reveals the creativity of the entrants, their abilities to observe, collect, organize relevant socially significant information, abilities to determine the actual topic of a given product, analyze its structure”, – the dean of the FUFSC T.S. Pinchuk said.

Information on the results of entrance examinations, creative competitions and professional tests are entered into the unified state electronic database on education.
