On March 17, a landmark event for the educational community took place at the university in the city of Myrhorod — a workshop “Where to look for inspiration when darkness surrounds us: restoring inner resources.”
The event, organized by the Center for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers of the Myrhorod City Council, brought together employees of the deans’ offices and directorates of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University and the Brianka Professional College.
The speakers and moderators of the meeting were the director of the Center Viktoriia Volodymyrivna Solomakha and consultant Vita Ivanivna Kozlova.
The workshop program was aimed at developing self-support skills in difficult times. The participants did not just listen to theory, but actively mastered stabilization practices: state diagnostics: through the exercises “My Battery” and “Corridor”, the participants learned to recognize the level of their own exhaustion; stabilization techniques: the moderators demonstrated effective methods of “Instant Help”, grounding and centering exercises that help restore a sense of control; work with meanings: the use of IAC cards helped to find individual sources of inspiration.
The event was held in an atmosphere of special emotional uplift, which is confirmed by the sincere feedback from the participants.
Volodymyr Donchenko, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies, shared his impressions of the dynamics of the meeting: “The one and a half hours of the workshop flew by literally in one breath! The program was so rich and interesting that time seemed imperceptible, and the energy in the audience only grew.” Nataliia Pavlova, Deputy Dean for Social and Humanitarian Work of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences, noted the special atmosphere that the organizers managed to create: “I was struck by the amazing ease of presentation of the material and the sincere interest of the moderators in the results of each of us. This is the case when learning becomes a real resource and gives inspiration.”
The university and college staff express their sincere gratitude to the moderators, Viktoria Solomakha and Vita Kozlova, for their high professionalism, responsiveness, and skill. The space of trust and safety they created allowed each participant to “reboot” and gain practical tools for maintaining mental health. The workshop became an important reminder: taking care of yourself is not a luxury, but a necessary condition for continuing to carry the light of knowledge even in the darkest times. Let’s take care of our resource together! We are getting closer to Victory!
