Public Discussion of Educational Programs

The Department of Foreign Languages held a public discussion of the educational programs of the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education.
On March 13, at the Faculty of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, a public discussion was conducted regarding the bachelor’s degree programs in specialty A4. Secondary Education. A4.021 “English Language and World Literature” and A4.022 “German Language and World Literature.”
Program guarantors Viktoriia Serhieieva and Iryna Skliarova presented the content of the programs, their structure, and the logic of constructing educational components, outlining the key competencies and program learning outcomes.
The participants emphasized that the programs possess a clear methodological foundation and a balanced combination of theoretical and practical disciplines. Greater attention was devoted to the importance of practical training, which enables future graduates to enter the educational system as competent, innovative, and forward‑thinking teachers.
All attendees were actively engaged in a lively discussion. The strengths of the programs were highlighted, particularly their practical orientation, the well-considered allocation of credits for language training, as well as the literary studies component. First-year student of specialty A4.022 “German Language and World Literature”, Alikhanidi Spartak, stated that he is fully satisfied with his studies in the program and that it meets his expectations.
Overall, the discussion demonstrated a high level of interest within the academic community in improving educational programs and adapting them to contemporary challenges. It served as a platform for constructive exchange of ideas among students, faculty, and stakeholders, and outlined promising directions for the further enhancement of existing programs.
