Meeting Dedicated to Taras Shevchenko’s Works
12.3.2026
A warm and inspiring meeting dedicated to Taras Shevchenko’s work took place at the Department of Special Education of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology.
Teachers and students recited poems by the Great Kobzar, recalled his life path and spoke about the power of words, which have inspired, united and given faith to many generations.
A particularly touching moment was the performance of a little guest – Mykhailyk, a student’s son. He read the famous lines from Taras Shevchenko’s poem “Caucasus”: “Keep fighting – you are sure to win! God helps you in your fight!” In the child’s performance, these words sounded sincere and symbolic. The performance became a true symbol of the unity of generations, because Shevchenko’s word sounds even in the hearts of the youngest.
The lines of poetry sounded especially penetrating, reminding us that the Kobzar’s work remains alive, relevant and close to every Ukrainian.
Such meetings unite, preserve cultural memory and pass on love for the Ukrainian word from generation to generation.
