Expanding Practice Bases
10.3.2026
Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is expanding practice bases for future specialists in the field of physical culture and sports.
On March 6, 2026, a working meeting of representatives of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University with the leaders of the community’s sports industry took place in the city of Boryspil.
The event was attended by the heads of the city’s sports committee, the director of the Youth Sports School, and the director of the Comprehensive Children’s and Youth Sports School.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of expanding the bases of practical training for our students majoring in A7 “Physical Culture and Sports” and A4.11 “Secondary Education (Physical Culture)”. Special attention was paid to establishing cooperation between the university and the city’s sports institutions, which will allow students to undergo practice directly in a modern sports environment.
The expansion of the network of practice bases opens up new opportunities for professional development for university students. Students will have the opportunity to gain practical experience working with young athletes, participate in the organization of the training process, sports events and competitions, as well as improve their pedagogical and coaching competencies.
Such cooperation is an important step in the development of high-quality practical training of future specialists at LTSNU. It contributes to strengthening partnerships with communities, expanding the educational space of the university and training competitive specialists who will be able to work effectively in the field of physical culture, sports and school education.
Establishing new partnerships also strengthens the role of the university as a modern educational center that combines theoretical training with real practical experience, forming a new generation of specialists capable of developing sports culture and a healthy lifestyle in Ukrainian communities.
