Meeting Dedicated to the International Women’s Day

Due to the International Women’s Day, a meeting was held between university employees and students with representatives of the Lubny branch of the NGO “Defense of the State”.

On March 6, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, employees and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University were invited to the office of the Lubny separate branch of the NGO “Defense of the State”, headed by Vitalii Holovko, for an open and sincere dialogue with women.

The meeting began with an introduction to the photo exhibition “Year of Action”, which presents the results of the organization’s work during the first year of its activity. The photos reflected volunteer initiatives, patriotic events and support for the Ukrainian military.

During the meeting, a frank conversation took place about women’s rights, their opportunities and role in modern society, in particular about the transformation of the role of Ukrainian women after 2022. The participants discussed the challenges of today and the important mission of women who today support their families, work, teach, volunteer and, together with the military, bring victory closer.

At the end of the meeting, the leading specialist of the Marketing Department of our university conveyed greetings from the rector of the university, Olena Karaman, and on her behalf presented a Certificate of Gratitude to the head of the Lubny separate branch of the NGO “Defense of the State” Vitalii Holovko.

The certificate of gratitude was presented for fruitful cooperation aimed at uniting education, science and civic activism, as well as on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

In addition, as a sign of gratitude and in memory of the warm meeting, the head of the organization was presented with one of the symbols of the university – the flag of the LTSNU.

The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere and ended with friendly communication at a sweet table organized by the Lubny branch of the NGO “Defense of the State”.

This event was another testament to the strong cooperation of the university with public organizations and confirmation that through joint efforts, education, civic activism, and patriotic initiatives can form a strong and responsible society.
