A discussion of the EPP projects took place at the Department of Early and Preschool Child Development of the FPP.
On February 23, the Department of Early Childhood and Preschool Development held a working meeting of guarantors of educational and professional programs of the specialty A2 Preschool Education (bachelor’s and master’s levels) with teachers of the department and students.
Guarantor of the EPP Iryna Hrechyshkina focused the attention of those present on changes in the programs, updating the composition of the working group and stakeholders, clarifying the goal and subject area, as well as on changes that have occurred in educational and professional programs in accordance with modern requirements in the field of preschool education. Program guarantor Hanna Zazharska called on all participants to actively participate in the discussion of EPP projects during the meeting, as well as in the questionnaire process, and to provide constructive suggestions for their improvement.
During the discussion, it was emphasized that the department systematically monitors the quality of educational programs, constantly studies and takes into account the proposals of students, employers, graduates and other stakeholders. We are open to professional dialogue, listen carefully to recommendations and comments, promptly respond to them and take necessary measures to update the content, forms and methods of teaching.
The department actively cooperates with stakeholders: organizes consultations, discussions, surveys, joint events, which allows ensuring the compliance of educational and professional programs with modern challenges, labor market requirements and professional standards. All proposals are carefully analyzed by the working group and, if possible, integrated into the educational components of the programs.
When updating educational and professional programs, the department pays special attention to the study and consideration of the best foreign experience in training specialists in the field of preschool education. Modern European approaches to the formation of professional competencies of teachers, practice-oriented learning models, principles of inclusiveness and interdisciplinary interaction are analyzed. A comparative analysis of the content of educational programs of higher education institutions of the EU countries is being carried out, which allows adapting effective educational practices to the national context and improving the quality of training of future specialists in accordance with international standards.
The meeting became an effective platform for determining further directions for the development of the EPP, outlining common tasks and strengthening partnership between all stakeholders. The department will continue to demonstrate an active position in ensuring the quality of education, improving the content of training and forming highly qualified specialists in the field of preschool education.
The systematic, consistent and open-communicative work of the department will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of graduates and their successful professional self-realization after completing their studies.
All changes and updates to educational and professional programs will be published on the official website in a timely manner. This will ensure openness of information, the possibility of familiarizing a wide range of interested parties with the results of the discussion and will contribute to further receiving proposals for improving the EPP.
