All-Ukrainian Webinar “Social Work Without Borders: Innovations, Trends, Experience”. Issue 9.

On February 24, at the initiative of the Social Pedagogy Department of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, another online meeting was held within the framework of the All-Ukrainian webinar “Social Work Without Borders: Innovations, Trends, Experience”.

The speaker of the event was Oksana DUYUN – a practical psychologist, member of the National Association of Psychologists, clinical psychologist of the Art Therapy Association (Kharkiv branch, ART-Kharkiv), speech therapist, defectologist, correctional teacher.

The topic of the ninth webinar was “Children with Special Educational Needs: Levels of Support”, during which the following were considered: regulatory and legal aspects of supporting children with special educational needs; levels of support in educational institutions; interdisciplinary interaction of specialists; practical cases and examples of effective approaches in work; the role of psychological support and art therapy methods.

The webinar was attended by more than 100 people – scientists, psychologists, social workers and students from different regions of Ukraine. Traditionally, the event was attended by teachers, bachelors, masters and postgraduates of the Social Pedagogy Department majoring in “Social Work” and “Social Work and Counseling”. 

The meeting was held in an interactive format: participants actively participated in the discussion, asked questions and shared their own professional experience.
