“Reintegration of War Veterans: Education as a Bridge to Business”

On February 19, a roundtable discussion “Reintegration of War Veterans: Education as a Bridge to Business” was held, which brought together representatives of education, government, business, and the public sector around supporting the veteran community.

The event was attended by Professor of the Special Education Department Larysa Vorona, the executor of the research project of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine “Transformation of military experience into social leadership: an internationalized model of empowerment of veterans as agents of social change”.

The discussions during the round table confirmed the relevance of the project’s scientific findings: veteran experience is a powerful resource for the development of entrepreneurship, civic activism and social leadership. It is education, intersectoral interaction and systemic support that create the conditions for such a transformation.

The event became an important platform for exchanging practices, establishing partnerships and strengthening the role of veterans as agents of positive social change in Ukraine.
