Participation in the Official Reception of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine

The postgraduate student of the Social Pedagogy Department took part in the official reception of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine.

On February 10, 2026, Olena ZAKHARCHENKO, a postgraduate student majoring in I10 “Social Work and Counseling”, took part in the official reception of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ukraine and had the honor to personally congratulate the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the PRC to Ukraine, Mr. Ma Shengkun, on the occasion of the upcoming New Year according to the Eastern calendar.

This is not the first time that the postgraduate has participated in events at the diplomatic and interstate level, which indicates her active scientific position, consistent interest in the development of Ukrainian-Chinese academic dialogue and the expansion of international cooperation. Established cooperation and participation in events supported by diplomatic institutions are also of great importance for the preparation of the candidate’s dissertation research on the topic “Social and legal protection of motherhood and childhood in China”, providing access to relevant international experience, professional contacts and modern scientific discourse.

Participation in such events contributes to the strengthening of academic contacts between Ukraine and China, the formation of intercultural competence of young scientists, the development of professional communications and international scientific interaction. Such initiatives correspond to the strategic educational goals of the university, in particular the development of global thinking, academic mobility and interinstitutional scientific cooperation.

According to the Social Pedagogy Department
