Meeting of the Union of Designers of Ukraine

Teachers of the Faculty of Arts joined the meeting of the Union of Designers of Ukraine discussion.

On January 16, teachers of the Department of Design and Media Production, the Department of Fine and Decorative Arts took part in the meeting of the Union of Designers of Ukraine.

During the event, topical issues of the development of the professional design community, strategic directions of the Union’s activities and prospects for the expansion of regional centers were considered.

An important event within the meeting was the discussion and organizational design of the creative union “Poltava Center of the Union of Designers of Ukraine”, which aims to consolidate designers in the region, support creative initiatives, develop professional education and popularize Ukrainian design at the national and international levels.

The speaker of the event was Yurii Borisov, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Designers of Ukraine, who in his speech outlined the key challenges and opportunities for modern Ukrainian design, emphasized the importance of regional centers in the formation of a single professional space and emphasized the role of designers in the cultural and social development of the country.

Following the meeting, further steps were determined regarding the activities of the Poltava branch, as well as areas of cooperation with educational, cultural and artistic institutions.
