Defense of Master’s Students Majoring in Design

The Department of Design and Media Production hosted the defense of the master’s students majoring in “Graphic Design”. 

Works of various directions, techniques, and executions were presented: from illustrations for Lesia Ukrainka’s book to a physical Advent calendar with painted New Year’s decorations and the development of the identity of an entire city.

The examination commission included: Iryna Prodan (Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor), Olha Kostiuk (Head of the Department and Media Production, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor), Nazar Bozhinskyi (Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Media Production, Candidate of Architecture), and the director of the Poltava Children’s Art School named after Sviatoslav Pashynsky – Iryna Konoplia acted as the chairman.

The commission noted that this year’s defense was held at a very professional level and all applicants received scores of at least 90 points. The works of Olha Moroz and Iryna Zhuikova were especially distinguished for their originality in terms of idea and execution, and Svitlana Romanenko and Maksym Chubenko for their diligence and thoroughness in their work.
