NATIONAL MULTI-SUBJECT TEST 2026

Who needs to take the national multi-subject test? Mandatory for all applicants to higher education institutions for the 1st year of a bachelor’s or medical master’s degree. Applicants who have already taken the NMT can use the results of 2023-2025.
What will the NMT consist of?
You need to pass 3 mandatory subjects and 1 elective subject (you can choose only 1 subject, you cannot choose 2 or more).
Mandatory subjects:
- Ukrainian language
- Mathematics
- History of Ukraine
Elective subjects:
- Foreign language (English, German, French or Spanish)
- Ukrainian literature
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Geography
Where and how will the NMT be held
In special temporary examination centers. Each participant will learn the time and place from his invitation to the NMT. Testing duration: 4 hours with a 20-minute break between two blocks of tasks.
Can I take the NMT abroad
Yes, examination centers will be created in certain cities in North America, Europe and Western Asia.
When and where will registration for the NMT take place
Registration will take place on the website of the Ukrainian Center for Education Quality Assessment https://testportal.gov.ua/ approximately in March-April.
