LTSNU Expands Partnership with the Svatove Community

Recently, a working meeting of the university representatives with the head of the Svatove City Military Administration, Oleksandr Mitkevych, took place.

Representatives of the educational sphere of the Svatove community also joined the dialogue: the head of the Education Department of the Svatove City Council Artur Parkhomenko and the consultant of the Center for Professional Development of Pedagogical Workers Eduard Parkhomenko.

The University delegation was headed by Oleksandr Dubovoi, Dean of the Faculty of Health Care and Sports of LTSNU. The main purpose of the visit was to establish and deepen cooperation in the development of sports in the Luhansk region on the territory of the Brovary district, taking into account modern challenges and needs of internally displaced communities.

During the meeting, Oleksandr Dubovoi emphasized the importance of systematic interaction between higher education institutions, local governments and military administrations for the restoration and development of sports infrastructure, support for youth and the formation of a healthy lifestyle. He emphasized that the university has a powerful human resources, scientific, methodological and practical potential for the implementation of joint sports and health initiatives, training programs, competitions and educational projects.

The parties discussed possible areas of cooperation, including the participation of university specialists in community sports events, involving young people in educational and training programs, supporting physical education teachers, and developing veteran and adaptive sports.

The meeting confirmed mutual interest in further partnership and outlined prospects for joint steps in the near future.

This cooperation opens up new opportunities for the practical implementation of educational programs, expanding its regional presence, strengthening the university’s social mission, and active participation in the restoration and development of the Luhansk region through sports, education, and community health.
