“About the Basic Principles of the State Environmental Policy of Ukraine for the Period Until 2030”

The FNAS as a Member of the Working Group on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “About the Basic Principles (Strategy) of the State Environmental Policy of Ukraine for the Period Until 2030”. 

On December 19, 2025, an important stage of updating the state environmental policy of Ukraine began – the first meeting of the Working Group on the preparation of proposals for amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Basic Principles (Strategy) of the State Environmental Policy of Ukraine for the period until 2030” was held.

At the initiative of public environmental organizations, the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine established a Working Group on the preparation of changes and amendments to the Strategy, which included representatives of central and local executive bodies, the scientific community and the public. The working group also included the Dean of the Faculty of Natural and Agrarian Sciences of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Natalia Matsai, Head of the Luhansk Branch of the All-Ukrainian Ecological League.
