Winner of the Essay Competition

An essay competition was held as part of the annual event “Economic Results 2025”.

The competition is aimed at developing analytical thinking, forming a creative approach to understanding socio-economic processes, as well as popularizing the ideas of economic freedom, small state, free entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth in Ukraine.

The competition was organized by the public organization “International Institute of Freedom”. The partners of the initiative were the publishing house Well Books, the NGO “Ukrainian Students for Freedom” and other public and expert institutions.

According to the results of the competitive selection, one of the winners was Dmytro Liakh, a 3rd year student majoring in 052 “Political Science” of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. His essay “Economic Freedoms as the Basis of Society’s Stability in Times of Crisis: The View of a Future Political Scientist” took 3rd place.

Overall, the competition brought together participants from various higher education institutions in Ukraine and demonstrated a high level of interest among young researchers in the issues of economic freedom, state stability, and social development in times of crisis challenges.
