Participation in the IX Congress of the Ukrainian Student League

During December 12–14, the IX Congress of the Public Union “Ukrainian Student League” was held in Chernivtsi – the largest student organization in Ukraine, which unites over 80 higher education institutions from all regions of the country.

The event became an important platform for dialogue, exchange of experience and formation of a common position of the student community.

Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University was represented at the Congress by the head of the student government Sapa Diana and the secretary of the student government Alena Kristiian.

The Congress program was rich and diverse. The participants were welcomed by the mayor of Chernivtsi, the leadership of the Ukrainian Student League and the Rector of the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. The event included practical sessions on media strategy and communications, discussion of current challenges related to the relocation of universities, as well as a panel discussion on the development of student government, international partnerships and internal organizational work of the USL.

Participation in the Congress contributed to strengthening the representation and voice of our students at the national level, establishing new contacts, exchanging successful practices and developing ideas for the further development of student government. The event once again confirmed that students of our university are an active part of the all-Ukrainian student community and participate in the formation of modern student policy in Ukraine.
