Meeting with Pupils of the Pyriatyn Community

On December 10, representatives of our university conducted a career orientation visit to secondary education institutions of the Pyriatyn City Council of the Lubny district.

The purpose of the meetings was to tell future graduates about the educational opportunities of the university and help young people choose a professional path.

Representatives of LTSNU met with 10–11th grade pupils of two Pyriatyn Lyceums No. 6 and No. 4, to whom they presented the structure of the university, its educational and scientific institutes, faculties and specialties.

With the help of multimedia presentations, high school students learned about:

• educational programs and opportunities for professional development;
• conditions of the 2026 admission campaign;
• student life, scientific, cultural and sports initiatives;
• advantages of studying at LTSNU as one of the oldest universities in Eastern Ukraine;
• modern labor market trends and the importance of a conscious professional choice.

Students actively asked questions about the features of educational programs, internships, dormitories, employment opportunities and international mobility. They received comprehensive and meaningful answers to all their questions and received advertising and information booklets of LTSNU, which contain detailed information about specialties, admission requirements and contacts of the admissions committee.

The pupils also had the opportunity to fill out short questionnaires in which they indicated their interests, professional intentions and requests for future education. This will allow the university to better take into account the needs of applicants and plan further career guidance work.

Career guidance visits of LTSNU are not just information, but an opportunity to personally communicate with pupils, answer their requests and help them take the first steps towards a conscious professional choice.

Regular cooperation with the communities of Poltava region demonstrates the openness of the university, its desire to be close to young people and support them in shaping a successful future.
