Futsal Competition Referee

A student of the Professional College acted as a referee at the Open Futsal Championship of the Lubny Territorial Community Youth and Sports School.

Mykyta Bortnik, a 1st year student majoring in “Secondary Education (Physical Culture)” of LTSNU took part in the Open Futsal Championship of the Lubny Territorial Community Youth and Sports School among young men in 2016, dedicated to St. Nicholas Day, acting as a referee of the competition.

During the tournament, the student confidently showed himself as a qualified judge: he demonstrated attentiveness, objectivity and the ability to quickly respond to game episodes. Refereeing in matches of young athletes became an important stage of his professional development and an opportunity to practice practical skills necessary for a future specialist in the field of physical culture and sports.

Participation in such events contributes to the formation of competencies, increased responsibility and development of leadership qualities of student youth. The College is proud of the activity and initiative of its students and supports them in their desire to gain experience in real conditions of sports activities.
