The online event “Value-Based Inclusion of Ukrainian Students into European Educational Environment Through Storytelling” was held.
In accordance with the plan of social and humanitarian work of the Pedagogy Department of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, on December 5, 2025, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Svitlana Shekhavtsova held an online event on the topic: “Value-Based Inclusion of Ukrainian Students into European Educational Environment Through Storytelling”. The event was aimed at forming a culture of interethnic relations among master’s students majoring in 014.05 Secondary education. Biology and human health; 014.07 Secondary education. Geography; 014.01 Secondary education. English language and foreign literature; 035.01 Philology. Language and literature (English); 035.02 Philology. Language and literature (German); 014. Secondary education. Ukrainian Language and Literature; C7 Journalism; postgraduate students majoring in A 1 Educational, Pedagogical Sciences.
In order to immerse students in the intercultural context of communication, the online event was held in English. The following issues were discussed: understanding the challenges and opportunities associated with the value-based involvement of Ukrainian students in the European educational environment; recommendations for educators on the use of Storytelling technology for intercultural understanding, preservation of Ukrainian identity; practical recommendations for Ukrainian students to support their cultural adaptation and integration into the European educational space. The students were actively involved in discussing the materials of the event.
