Participation in the III Congress of the Association of Speech Therapists of Ukraine

The III Congress of the Association of Speech Therapists of Ukraine became a key platform for interdisciplinary dialogue between specialists in pedagogical and medical fields.

Teachers of the Special Education Department of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University also participated in this professional forum. During the Congress, a wide range of issues were considered:

• sensorimotor development of children and its features;
• modern approaches to diagnosing speech disorders of various genesis;
• innovative methods of correctional and speech therapy;
• the impact of stress factors and war injuries on the speech development of children and adults.

Particular attention was paid to the challenges of the present, in particular, speech rehabilitation after psychological traumas associated with military events, which is of particular importance in the conditions of modern Ukraine.

The participation of LTSNU teachers in events of this scale testifies to the continuous professional development of the department and its orientation towards improving modern correctional practices, which is a guarantee of high-quality training of future specialists.
